Staying at the Alcatraz Jail-Hostel in Tbilisi was an unexpected delight that perfectly blended charm and comfort with a unique theme. The spacious private room offered ample space for relaxation after our adventures in the city, while the shared kitchen provided a welcoming environment for cooking and socializing with fellow guests. One of the standout features was the friendly hospitality of the owners, whose commitment to ensuring our comfort made us feel right at home; they even treated us to their delicious homemade wine and whisky, which was an experience in itself. Location-wise, it couldn’t be more ideal—just a short walk from the city center yet tucked away in a peaceful spot. The cleanliness of the shared bathrooms and common areas reflected the care they put into maintaining the hostel. All in all, this hidden gem offered fantastic value for money and unforgettable memories, making it an easy choice for anyone planning to visit Tbilisi.
